Coreluv is blessed to defend the children God has entrusted to us! Each child in our care has a name and story that we are excited to share with YOU!
In August of 2015, we received a call from IBESR (Social Services) about a young boy named Olivier who was in desperate need of a home.
Olivier was abandoned by his family at the hospital in St. Marc, at the age of 10 because of his family’s inability to provide him with proper care. Considering he was left with no other family members to be his caretaker, and the hospital was unable to keep him, Olivier was left orphaned.
With no other options for Olivier, social services contacted Coreluv. When presented with this situation, there was no question that Olivier needed to come to our Coreluv Myan Children's Village, where he could be loved and cared for as every child should. Without hesitation, our answer was, "YES!"
Social services continue to bring children to Coreluv because they see their six basic needs being met! We consider ourselves blessed to have the opportunity to faithfully provide the fatherless with clean water, proper food, healthcare, education, job skills and a loving, Christ-centered home.
Olivier was in poor condition when he first arrived in Myan. Now, he is one of the first to run and greet you with a hug! Olivier is full of joy and can be found riding the skateboard or playing with a basketball.
Thanks to our Coreluv Orphan Care partners, Olivier's six basic needs are met as he continues to grow as a joyful, healthy, young boy!! We praise God that Olivier has found his new family with us!
