Jennifer Houghton, Operations Co-Director
As of February 2016, Jennifer had never read or even heard James 1:27. After realizing that caring for orphans and widows is what God accepts as true, pure religion, she learned what it means to not only love Jesus but live Jesus. Three months after reading that particular scripture, Jennifer joined Coreluv International in helping Defend the Orphan. She has a passion for bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to every orphan in every country that Coreluv works with. The Lord has ordered her steps to be a part of Coreluv International, where she is a part of the mission to see the orphan crisis changed from 150,000,000 to zero.

John and Tracy Rizzo, Operations Co-Director | Fundraising & Donor Development Directors
John and Tracy’s eyes were opened to the cause of the orphan, in 2010. They took their first trip to Haiti in July 2011 and knew God was calling them to orphan care in a greater way. Since then, John and Tracy have obeyed James 1:27 by leading trips, raising awareness, and serving as directors of the missions and orphan ministry program in their home church in New York for three years. In 2013, God orchestrated a meeting with John and Mike Reiszner, founder of Coreluv on the rooftop of an orphanage they both worked within Port-au-Prince. Since that meeting, God has opened the door for John, Tracy and their family to move to Texas in August of 2016, and join the Coreluv team.

Michael and Valina Perry, Program Development Directors | Honduras Directors
Michael and Valina met in Conroe, Texas. Two months after getting married, they answered the Lord's call, sold their belongings, and moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras in June 2013 to serve as Directors of Casa de Ester - a rescue home for teenage girls who are victims of abuse and exploitation. They faced many challenges and trials in their first few years in Honduras, but they remained faithful to God’s calling and continued to advance the ministry. In February 2015, their daughter, Avayla, was born in Honduras. In May 2015, the Perrys assumed full leadership and responsibility for Casa de Ester as an independent ministry. After developing a Honduran team of leaders and staff, the Lord called the Perrys back to the US to help expand the structure and support for Casa de Ester starting in 2017. During this transition, the Lord led Coreluv and the Perrys to unite, bringing Casa de Ester into the Orphan Care Partner Program and the Perrys as Coreluv missionaries. The Perrys have a heart for sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ to the orphaned, oppressed and lost through raising up disciples and developing ministry programs.

Chris and Misty Brown, School of Missions Directors
It was after their first trip to Haiti with Coreluv, in March 2013, that Chris and Misty began championing the cause of Coreluv. They are committed to empowering and training missionaries who will be sent around the world to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and to rescue and defend the orphan. “We believe if we are created in the image of God then our capacity to love is as infinite as His; therefore, our heart must be fixed on the very things that impassion His.”

Helen Daniel, Finance Department
Helen first began defending the orphan by coordinating fundraisers for her church in the Spring of 2013. As her heart continued to expand for the orphan so did her role within the Coreluv team. She took her first trip to Haiti the following September and since then, she has used her gifts to organize and establish structure Coreluv to prepare it to go to the next level. “I like being able to pair financial planning and structure with the vision of Coreluv.”
