A word from our

Founders

Mike and Mandy Reizner, founders of Coreluv International

As the founders of Coreluv International, we have dedicated our lives to ministry, driven by a passion to bring the LUV of Jesus to orphans around the world.

What you may not know is that before Coreluv, we spent years sharing the LUV of Jesus with fatherless and at-risk children on Houston’s toughest streets.

While our commitment to Defend the Orphan globally is stronger than ever, we are thrilled to share how we will now be able to do that right here in Houston, all while expanding our global impact both now and for years to come.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share about this exciting new season and thank you for joining us on the journey!

Mike and Mandy Reiszner

Our

Present

Coreluv operates in four countries. Through your partnership, 117 orphaned children and young adults have been rescued and over 300 children receive a Christ-centered education in Haiti. Over 400 children receive nutritious meals along with the gospel in South Asia. Hundreds of children receive meals at feeding centers across Honduras. And hundreds of children in the inner city of Houston have received school supplies, Christmas gifts, and the gospel.

Haiti

The Myan Children’s Village provides full-time care in a loving home for 117 children and young adults.

The Myan School provides a Christ-centered education for over 300 children and young adults in Pre-K through 9th grade.

The Maissade Children’s Village provides full-time care in a loving home for 48 children and young adults.

South Asia

Our four feeding centers in South Asia provide over 400 meals to children daily.

Along with a nutritious meal, each child receives the gospel. We also offer educational classes and distribute hygiene supplies throughout the year.

Honduras

Coreluv supports feeding centers throughout Honduras to provide nutritious meals, mentorship, and the gospel in communities throughout the country.

We are also building the Cedros Children’s Village, which will be a loving home for children who are orphaned in Honduras.

Haiti

We operate two children’s villages in Haiti in Myan and Maissade, home to 117 children and young adults. We also operate a school serving Pre-K through 9th grade.

We are investing in our Special Needs Village, which we plan to open in 2024. This will be a lifelong home for young adults with special needs.

South Asia

We operate four feeding centers in South Asia, where we provide a daily nutritious meal and share the gospel with over 400 children. We also teach educational classes and provide hygiene kits and other necessities.

We dream of reaching more “untouchable” children and providing more of their basic needs in the future.

Honduras

We partner with feeding centers across Honduras to provide a nutritious meal along with mentoring and sharing the gospel.

We have also been given land, and are preparing to begin building the Cedros Children’s Village! Once open, we will be taking in orphans and providing their six basic needs.

Our

Future

150,000,000

There are over 150 million orphans in the world today, and every day another 5,700 children are orphaned. To scale our ability to meet this overwhelming need, Coreluv needs a global mission base and discipleship training school, all built on a foundation of prayer.

Our

Story

The Call to Go

1995

The Call to Go

God called Mike and Mandy to the streets of Houston’s Fourth Ward. There, they served as missionaries, reaching some of the city’s most vulnerable and impoverished children. Their days were filled with sharing hope, love, and the transformative message of Christ with those who needed it most. Those years of hands-on ministry shaped them, teaching them the value of compassion, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Coreluv's Special Needs Village in Haiti will provide a loving forever home for children with special needs.

2011

The Call to Defend

In 2011, Mike and Mandy resigned from a vibrant, growing church to follow God’s inner stirring to Defend the Orphan full-time. Since then, Coreluv has grown from a mere idea to a nationally recognized non-profit organization.

The Call to Pray

2020

The Call to Pray

When COVID hit, God called us to spend time at His feet. Our team learned firsthand the upside-down Kingdom value of stepping aside to pray. Our entire way of doing ministry changed. We knew moving forward that prayer would be the foundation of everything.

2024

The Call to Build

Now, God is calling us to renovate a building in Houston’s Third Ward—a space that will serve as a house of prayer, a local and global missions base, and a discipleship training school. Here, we’ll continue our commitment to orphans globally while expanding our impact right here in Houston.

Our

Vision

We are establishing a local inner-city arm of Coreluv, a global missions base, and a discipleship training school, with Nations House of Prayer as the foundation to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Prayer & Worship

Nations House of Prayer

This will serve as the foundation for everything we create in the future. As we come into the house of prayer to fulfill the Great Commandment, we receive the burdens on His heart and go out to fulfill the Great Commission through local and international ministry to orphans.

Outreach & Missions

Local & Global Mission Base

This local inner-city arm and global mission base will exponentially expand our ability to share the LUV of Jesus with children, youth, and young adults both locally and globally. It will support Coreluv’s expansion as we scale internationally.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship Training School

In partnership with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), we are launching a discipleship training school to raise up missionaries to share the gospel and defend the orphan around the world. The school will include both classroom study and hands-on local or international outreach.

THE building

3353 Elgin St.

Located in Houston’s Third Ward, this 27,000 sq. ft. building consists of three floors which will be dedicated to our three spheres. The first floor will be home to Nations House of Prayer, where morning, noon, and night prayer and worship will be the fuel for everything we do. The second floor will be home to Coreluv’s local outreach to neighborhood children as well as house our global mission base. The third floor will be home to our discipleship training school, which will be our training mechanism to equip, train, and send out missionaries.

Establish Nations House of Prayer (First Floor)

We will establish Nations House of Prayer by creating 9,000 sq. ft. of space for large and small gatherings. The first floor will be converted into a large gathering space where hundreds can gather to fulfill the Great Commandment before going out to fulfill the Great Commandment and James 1:27. We will also create space for group and one-on-one discipleship.

Establish Coreluv’s Local Children’s Ministry and Global Mission Base (Second Floor)

We will establish our local children’s ministry by creating 9,000 sq. ft. of space for children from the community to come and receive tutoring, mentorship, and support as they navigate childhood. The space will also serve as a hub for local outreach extending into the surrounding neighborhood and as a base for Coreluv’s global orphan care operations.

Establish Discipleship Training School (Third Floor)

We will establish our YWAM Discipleship Training School by creating 9,000 sq. ft. of space where students will come to be trained in the Word of God and ministry. There will be classroom and large group meeting spaces, to support training missionaries to be sent locally and around the world to preach the gospel and defend the orphan.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are you trying to raise in total?

The goal for this campaign is to raise $6M to pay for financing and projected renovation costs for the building at 3353 Elgin St. This will allow us to establish our inner-city local arm of ministry, Nations House of Prayer, our global missions base, and discipleship training school. This does not include paying off the remainder of the building or Coreluv operational costs.

How much will it cost to pay off the building?

The total to pay off the building is $3.4M. We plan on making $1.5M in payments on the building over the course of three campaign phases. The balance remaining will be determined based on principle payments.

Are Coreluv operations included in the campaign goal?

No, the 3353 Campaign goal only includes financing and projected renovation costs.

For Coreluv to operate with our current local and international programs, we need $1.5M per year. This will increase as our local and international operations expand.

How will the 3353 Campaign impact orphan care overseas?

Establishing a local arm and global mission base in downtown Houston will enhance and expand our ability to support orphan care operations overseas.

In addition, establishing our discipleship training school in partnership with YWAM (one of the largest missionary organizations in the world) will serve as a pipeline for more missionaries to serve in more countries to Defend the Orphan.
