Mike & Mandy Reiszner
Founders
Mike and Mandy Reiszner, founders of Coreluv International, have dedicated their lives to ministry. After completing Bible school training in their early twenties, they served as missionaries with an inner-city ministry in Houston’s Fourth Ward. There, they ministered to some of the poorest people in the city. For ten years after, Mike and Mandy served as youth pastors discipling young men and women to pursue a personal and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. They built an exciting and relevant youth ministry while staying true to biblical principles.
In 2009, Coreluv was born when God began stirring deep compassion for orphans in Mike and Mandy’s hearts. They immediately began organizing Christian concerts to raise money for an African orphanage. It was a surprise to many of their friends when in 2011, Mike walked away from the American ministry ideal (a secure position in a vibrant, growing church) to follow God’s inner stirring to Defend the Orphan full-time.
Since June 2011, Coreluv has grown from an idea to a nationally-recognized non-profit organization providing life-saving care to orphans in Haiti and feeding hundreds of children daily in South Asia. Mike and Mandy are living their dream with their three children — John-Michael, Bethany, and Christian — and will soon be adding Mylove, a Haitian orphan they are adopting.
