Raising Up the Next Generation of Christian Leaders in Haiti
A Journey of Faith and Transformation
Because of your unwavering support, Coreluv is doing something extraordinary. We send each of our young adults in Haiti to a five-month discipleship training school, where they grow in faith, confidence, and vision for their future. In a country desperate for hope, they are becoming beacons of light, discovering the only hope that truly transforms—Jesus Christ.
Our mission of bringing the LUV of Jesus to orphans around the world includes equipping our young adults in Haiti as they age into adulthood. Through Coreluv’s Transition Program, these future Christian leaders are discovering their purpose, and we are witnessing incredible testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
Claudine’s Story: From Fear to Confidence

Claudine joined the discipleship training school with a heart eager to serve but also filled with nerves. She was terrified of speaking in front of others. When she was first asked to lead a worship service, her hands shook so much she could barely hold the microphone. But God had bigger plans for her! As the days went on, Claudine found herself leading confidently, and soon, her trembling turned into bold proclamations of faith.
On an outreach trip, she met a young man who did not know Christ. Despite her initial fear, she felt God’s call to ask him, “Have you made peace with Christ?” He hadn’t, and that day, Claudine had the joy of leading him to the Lord. She was filled with excitement—he was the first person she led to Christ. This moment was a powerful reminder that God is raising her up for a purpose: to worship and lead others to Jesus.
Darline’s Journey: A Bold Witness
Darline began DTS feeling shy and unsure of her abilities. But during her time there, she discovered a newfound courage to speak, pray, and witness. One day, she encountered a young girl who couldn’t afford to go to school. Darline and her team prayed fervently with the girl, asking God to provide. Later, they met the girl again—her prayers had been answered, and she received the funds needed to attend school!
Another unforgettable encounter involved a former voodoo priest. He had been in a fatal car accident and was the only one who survived. Initially, he rejected their offer to share about Jesus, saying he didn’t know that name. Later, he invited them back so he could hear the gospel, and he accepted Jesus as his Savior!
Darline realized that her calling is to reach the lost, especially the children on the streets who have no one to care for them. She feels called to be a vessel of God’s love and compassion, bringing hope to the hopeless.
Mercideau’s Growth: A Heart for Discipleship

Mercideau struggled with expressing his thoughts and found it challenging to speak to others confidently. However, during his time at Discipleship Training School, everything changed.
He not only learned how to share God’s Word effectively but also how to listen more attentively to God’s voice. His growth in both faith and communication was transformative. One powerful day, while praying for a woman suffering from a painful bone condition that made it difficult for her to breathe, Mercideau witnessed an incredible miracle—she was healed right before his eyes!
Mercideau is sure that God is calling him to pursue a trade and pass on what he has learned to others. He wants to teach practical skills and pass on the faith he has received. He’s committed to investing in the next generation, helping them grow spiritually, and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in life. Mercideau is excited to multiply the impact of his calling and empower others to walk in faith and purpose.
Tarantina’s Mission: Healing and Evangelism
For Tarantina, Discipleship Training School (DTS) was a transformative journey that deepened her understanding of God and strengthened her trust in Him. Throughout the program, she learned how to pray with greater sincerity and truly listen to God’s voice.
During her outreach, she came face-to-face with people suffering from illnesses and the destructive power of voodoo curses. Through prayer, she witnessed God’s miraculous healing and deliverance, confirming that He is indeed the Great Healer and Deliverer.
Tarantina also discovered her true calling—to preach the gospel and lead others to Christ. This newfound purpose fills her with passion and joy, and she embraces it wholeheartedly. She is fully committed to bringing the LUV of Jesus to those who need it most, and she is ready to follow wherever God calls, carrying His message of hope and salvation to the ends of the earth.
Jean Ronat: A Second Chance
Jean Ronat came to Discipleship Training School (DTS) excitedly, but adjusting to the new environment and the challenges that came with it wasn’t easy. He faced hurdles as he got used to the school’s structure and demands. However, through it all, God strengthened Jean through His grace and mercy and guided him through the training. Despite the obstacles, Jean completed the program, and today, he can lead church services and even prepare teachings—something he once thought was far beyond his reach.
Jean’s journey has filled him with deep gratitude, especially for the patience and support of his leaders. Their guidance allowed him the time and space to learn and grow in his calling. Now, with a heart full of compassion, Jean strongly desires to help others, particularly in ministry. His passion is to serve children, ensuring they are fed and cared for and sharing the LUV of Jesus with them. Jean’s transformation is a testament to what God can do through dedication and a heart willing to serve.
Djeffson: Reaching Others Through Music
Djeffson once believed that preaching was something he could never do, but everything changed after his time at Discipleship Training School (DTS). Through the program, he learned how to communicate the gospel effectively and, in the process, discovered an unexpected passion—using music as a powerful tool to reach others for Christ. His journey of faith and growth transformed his view of himself and his understanding of how he could serve God’s kingdom.
One unforgettable day, Djeffson prayed for a sick person, and to his amazement, they were completely healed! This moment deepened his faith and confirmed that God was working through him in ways he never imagined.
Now, Djeffson is more confident than ever that God is calling him to use his musical gifts to draw people into the church and closer to Jesus. He’s excited about creating music that inspires and leads others into a personal encounter with Christ. Djeffson is living proof that when we trust in God’s plan, He can do extraordinary things through us!
