The Foundation Is Taking Shape at Cedros Children’s Village

Just a few short months ago, we celebrated breaking ground in Honduras.
Now, the foundation is taking shape.

What was once open land is transforming. Foundations are being laid for homes that will soon hold bedrooms, kitchens, gathering places, and safe corners of a loving home.

Cedros Children’s Village is no longer just a vision. It’s becoming reality.

A Foundation Built in Prayer

Construction began with laying the foundation. But before a single shovel broke ground, this land was dedicated in prayer as a place where orphaned children would one day be welcomed into a loving family.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1

Over the past several months, through weather and challenges, progress has continued. What’s rising here is steady, intentional, and built to last.

Building More Than Homes

As the village rises, so does its impact.

We are employing local laborers, providing meaningful work, and investing directly in the surrounding community. This reflects partnership, dignity, and long-term vision.

And it’s possible because of you.

Block by Block

Block by block, something special is taking shape.

These walls are more than concrete. They represent protection, belonging, and a new story being written.

In Honduras, too many children grow up without stability or a loving home. When that happens, broken cycles continue.

But here, God is setting the lonely in families.

“God sets the lonely in families.” — Psalm 68:6
