Homes Are Taking Shape for Children in Honduras
What was once open land is beginning to look like home.
At Cedros Children’s Village in Honduras, walls are rising and rooms are forming. For the first time, you can begin to see what these spaces will become — places where children will sleep, eat, gather, and grow up surrounded by care.

The homes are no longer just imagined—they’re visible.
As you walk the site, you can see doorways, rooms, and spaces beginning to take shape. What was once a foundation is now becoming something you can step into and picture.
This is where children will one day live.
Where they’ll sit around tables, rest in their beds, and experience the consistency and care of a loving home.
What You’re Helping Build
As the village rises, so does its impact.
Local laborers are being employed. Families are being supported. The surrounding community is being strengthened through meaningful work.
This is happening because of the prayers and generosity of people like you.
We are deeply grateful for every Defender, church, and partner who has helped carry this vision forward.
Recent Progress
Construction continues to move forward with steady progress:
- Structural walls are up
- Load-bearing columns have been poured
- The homes are clearly taking shape
- Construction is moving toward roofing
Each step brings Cedros closer to welcoming children into family.
What Comes Next
As the structures near completion, the focus begins to shift.
Soon, these spaces will need more than walls and roofs.
They’ll need beds and tables.
Dishes and linens.
Mamas and staff.
Training and preparation.
Prayer covering.
We’re moving from building structures to preparing homes.
And when that moment comes, children will walk into spaces that have been intentionally prepared for them—homes filled with the LUV of Jesus.
A new chapter is beginning.
