On my first Coreluv trip to Haiti, I went to give LUV, but instead, I received an entirely new perspective of the Father’s love for me and what it looks like to worship Him.
Stepping into my first Haitian church service to worship with a group of people who didn’t even speak the same language as me opened my eyes to the vastness of God’s love for each of His children and transformed the way I worship Him now. Because of what God revealed to me on that trip, I now understand that true worship is more than just singing in a church service, but how I choose to live my life with the confidence His love affords me and the way I share that love with His children.
After graduating from nursing school in the spring of 2019, I started working at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands, TX. That summer, I married Micah Ennis, a previous Coreluv intern and missionary in Haiti for two years. Micah now works stateside as the Coreluv School of Missions Coordinator. When I can, I also serve alongside Micah as SOM Coordinator.
