Looking Back, Looking Forward

As we kick off 2024, we are so grateful for your unwavering support and prayers. In 2023, we witnessed countless miraculous moments as we saw God’s faithfulness.

Despite instability and unrest in Haiti, God protected and provided for our staff and children. We had 14 young adults and two staff graduate from YWAM discipleship training school in Haiti, where they completed classroom study and evangelistic outreach! And as we write this, we have another 10 young adults and two staff members attending YWAM!

Thanks to you, over 300 students received a Christ-centered education at our school serving Pre-K through 9th grade in Myan, Haiti. Many of our young adults are in or have completed internships and trade schools. We are excited about the opportunities opening for them through this training.

We also broke ground on our Special Needs Village in Haiti, a monumental step toward providing a loving home for young adults who need lifelong care — a miracle in the midst of the challenges in Haiti. We hope to open in 2024!

In South Asia, we fed over 400 children daily as we shared the Gospel. We taught educational classes to those who were unable to attend school. And we distributed hygiene kits to improve their health and well-being.

This past May Match, we raised enough to start construction in Honduras! We can’t wait to break ground on the Cedros Children’s Village in 2024. Please pray about joining us on a mission trip to Honduras to sow seeds of prayer and bring the LUV of Jesus and the gospel to children in the community.

Our ministry expanded locally through your support as we distributed backpacks full of school supplies and Christmas gifts and shared the gospel with children and families in need in Houston.

In 2024, we will move our headquarters downtown and launch a local arm of ministry to the fatherless right in our backyard. We’ll share more details soon about the building we found that will serve as our mission base and Nations House of Prayer in Houston!

We will have three components in Houston:

  1. A local missions base that will serve as Coreluv’s stateside headquarters
  2. Nations House of Prayer to fulfill the Great Commandment (Love the Lord your God) and the Great Commission (Make Disciples of All Nations)
  3. A discipleship training school to raise up future missionaries and leaders

We believe all three will help us fulfill our vision to bring the LUV of Jesus to orphans around the world!

Thank you for Defending the Orphan with us!
