Meet Claudine
Claudine’s early years were filled with challenges. She and her mother lived on the streets in Haiti, and their future seemed bleak. With no father to rely on and a mother unable to care for her, Claudine faced the harsh realities of life at a young age. However, in February 2007, a neighbor intervened, bringing her to Ms. Dorothy, an American missionary at Faith Hope Love Infant Rescue (FHLIR). This was a pivotal moment in Claudine’s life.
When Claudine arrived at FHLIR, she was malnourished and in desperate need of loving care. Over time, she began to heal and grow stronger.
When Coreluv started caring for the children at FHLIR, Claudine’s life was transformed once again. She moved to the Coreluv Myan Children’s Village, where she found a loving family—a place filled with brothers and sisters who would walk alongside her as she grew.
At Coreluv, Claudine received love, care, and attention. Through Coreluv’s six basic needs—clean water, nutritious food, healthcare, education, job skills, and a Christ-centered loving home—Claudine began to flourish. But more importantly, it was the LUV of Jesus that truly transformed her heart. Each day, she grew in her understanding of what it meant to be a daughter of God, loved unconditionally by her Heavenly Father.
Today, Claudine is in Coreluv’s Transition Program, preparing to enter adulthood. She is filled with dreams and aspirations. She is passionate about learning and enjoys school, especially grammar. Claudine desires to dedicate her life to serving others.
