Meet Jupiter
There is something powerful about watching a child who was once orphaned begin to dream again.
Today, Jupiter is fourteen years old. He lives in our Myan Children’s Village in Haiti, surrounded by caregivers, structure, and a family committed to his future. But like many children in Haiti who are orphaned, his early years were marked by uncertainty. In a country where poverty and instability affect countless families, children often carry burdens no child should bear.
When he was orphaned at a young age, Jupiter needed stability, family, and the LUV of Jesus lived out consistently.
With no one to provide his basic needs, he needed a family and someone to defend him.
When Jupiter came into Coreluv’s care, he was welcomed into a loving family and became a part of a community committed to Defending the Orphan for the long term.
Where Stability Begins
Transformation doesn’t usually happen in a single dramatic moment. It happens in daily rhythms.
Clean water. Proper food. Healthcare. Education. A loving home. Job skills. These six basic needs form the foundation of Jupiter’s life today.
Recently, one of his leaders spoke with the boys about healthy bedtime routines. That conversation affected his heart and impacted him. Instead of waiting to be told when to sleep, Jupiter began choosing to go to bed on time.
That may sound small, but it’s a foundation for the future.
Stability creates space for responsibility. Consistency forms character. Love, lived out daily, shapes decisions.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Through steady care and Christ-centered discipleship, Jupiter is not just being provided for. He is being formed.

Jupiter attends Coreluv’s school in Myan, Haiti, which he really enjoys.
In a country where less than half of children attend school, education is opening doors of opportunity for Jupiter.
He loves French and is especially strong in Mathematics. He’s discovering his strengths because he now has the space to do so.
And he’s beginning to dream.
When asked what he wants to do when he grows up, Jupiter said:
“I would like to learn to build houses when I grow up. I would like to become a mason.”
There is dignity in that dream.
To build something solid.
To strengthen a community.
To create stability for others.
Jupiter is also known for something else: he loves to serve! He is always ready to help his mama. That joy, that willingness, is the fruit of a loving home. It reflects restoration. It reflects belonging.
