Johnny, age 2
Meet Johnny!
Myan Children’s Village, Haiti
When Johnny was just a baby, his mother got very sick and passed away not long after he was born. Then, his father passed away, leaving Johnny orphaned with no one to care for him.
By God’s grace, Johnny was brought to Faith Hope Love Infant Rescue run by Ms. Dorothy. When he arrived, Johnny was very sick. He was malnourished, weak, and sick, weighing only 12 pounds. He had to spend a whole month in the hospital to get better, with doctors and prayers helping him.
Johnny later came to Coreluv’s Myan Children’s Village with his siblings from Miss Dorothy’s children’s home, where he continued to receive his basic needs and thrive as a young boy.
Johnny is like a burst of happiness! He loves making everyone around him smile. His joy is a bright light, reflecting the LUV of Jesus that he has received.
Johnny’s enthusiasm extends to his love for learning; he excels in school. He is fluent in English, and his intelligence shines through in his studies.
Beyond academics, Johnny has discovered a passion for creating kites, playing soccer and basketball, and drawing. His talents reflect his passion for life.
When he grows up, Johnny dreams of one day being an engineer!
Even though Johnny’s story had a tragic beginning, it did not end there! Through the LUV of Jesus and the support of people like you, Johnny has grown into an amazing young man. His story shows that God is the Father to the fatherless and can redeem every story!
