Founders, Mike and Mandy Reiszner met Pastor Jean in 2012. Jean is a trusted pastor and previously worked as a successful lawyer in Port-Au-Prince. In December 2008, he left a comfortable life in obedience to God and moved to Gonaives to start a church. He learned the severity of the orphan crisis and began an orphanage with 6 children. In addition, Pastor Jean started a school for “restaveks” – children entrapped in slave labor that would not have received an education otherwise.
Currently, Pastor Jean and his lovely wife Jouseline care for 11 precious orphans and continue to oversee the school for over 100 children. Coreluv has decided to partner with Pastor Jean and his family because they have a deep compassion to defend the orphan and have proven to stay faithful with very little resources. Coreluv has committed to bring Pastor Jean and his wife under our Orphan Care Partnership Program to continue to care for these children. In 2016, we were able to move these children into a private home with electricity and running water because of the support of our faithful Orphan Care Partners. Will you consider partnering with this orphanage and improve the life of the children by helping provide their six basic needs?
